Sailing trip from Port de Fornells: open navigation along the wild north coast of Menorca

What makes this sailing trip truly unique is the freedom it offers. Each morning, the skipper chooses the route based on wind and conditions — never the same itinerary, always the best possible sailing for that day. Heading west towards Cala Pilar or Cala Pregonda, or east towards the Favaritx lighthouse: you sail through one of the most unspoiled and least accessible areas of Menorca, deep within the northern marine reserve.

Aboard a French cruising yacht in a small group, you enjoy rare comfort — stretched out on deck, taking the helm with the skipper if you wish, or simply listening to the wind and the water. Two to three stops are planned in untouched coves for swimming and snorkeling. Equipment is provided, and a snack with unlimited drinks is served on board.

For the sunset option, departure is in the late afternoon. After a stop in a bay for diving and swimming, comes the most anticipated moment: watching the sun set from open water, in the silence of the sail, before sailing back into Port de Fornells as night falls. An experience you’ll still be talking about in winter.
