Mallorca hiking break in Can Estades: agrotourism in Calvià at the gateway to the Tramuntana
Set in the countryside around Calvià, around 20 minutes from Palma and at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, Can Estades is a family-run agrotourism property housed in a traditional Mallorcan possessió.
Surrounded by almond and olive trees, the finca retains the character of an old country estate, with its stone walls, peaceful setting and warm welcome.
Its location is one of its greatest advantages. You stay close to Palma while also being perfectly placed for the mountain landscapes of western Mallorca.
Can Estades is therefore an ideal base for alternating between exploring the capital, hiking and independent drives through the Serra de Tramuntana.
Breakfast is included in every package.

Hiking Package with your Amig@
Set out for around four hours of guided walking with your Amig@, accompanied by a French-speaking Evasion Authentic guide.
The route is selected with you according to your preferences and fitness level. Three levels are available: easy, moderate or challenging.
Depending on the route chosen, you may follow trails through the Serra de Tramuntana, coastal paths or valleys planted with olive trees.
The aim is not simply to hike, but to experience the island differently, away from the roads and closer to its landscapes.

For the hike, bring walking shoes, suitable clothing and water. The level is adapted to each participant.

What is the difference between the 2-, 3- and 4-night packages?
The length of your stay and the number of activities vary depending on the package. The longer you stay, the more comprehensive the programme is and the more aspects of Mallorca you can discover.
- 2 nights: accommodation + 1 activity
- 3 nights: accommodation + 2 activities + 1 evening out
- 4 nights: accommodation + 2 experiences + 1 evening out + 1 ‘Libertad’ experience
The activities on offer depend on the hotel and the region where you are staying.
Are flights to Mallorca included in the price?

Is a hire car included with all stays?
No. El coche de alquiler solo está incluido en los viajes en los que se mencione explícitamente en el programa y en la sección «Qué incluye».
For these holidays, the vehicle is collected on arrival in Mallorca and returned at the end of your stay. A shuttle bus from Palma Airport takes you to the hire company’s offices in Son Oms, about 5 minutes from the airport. The driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least 2 years. Basic insurance is included in the booking.
For holidays without a hire car, Évasion Authentic organises transfers between the airport and the hotel, as well as the necessary pick-ups for the activities included in your package.

How does the car hire included in the holiday work? (only available on certain holidays)
You will collect your hire car on arrival in Mallorca and return it at the end of your stay. A free shuttle bus from Palma Airport will take you to the hire company’s offices in Son Oms, about 5 minutes from the airport.
The driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least two years. Basic insurance is included in the booking. Additional ‘Keep Calm Pack’ cover, costing €5 per day, can be added; this is compulsory if paying by debit card.
Children’s equipment can also be added at an extra cost: a baby seat or booster seat for €8 per day.
Please note: for pick-ups between 11.00 pm and 6.00 am, a surcharge of €44 is payable on arrival.
You will be sent all the practical information you need to collect and return your vehicle before you arrive.
