Why visit Mallorca out of season?

Far from the hustle and bustle of summer, Mallorca reveals a more peaceful and authentic side. A few days are all it takes to switch off and make the most of the island.

Mallorca is ideal for a few days away. In a single short break, you can experience the city, mountain villages, local food, countryside and completely different landscapes.

Outside the summer months, Mallorca settles into a gentler rhythm. Mild daytime temperatures make it a great time for exploring Palma, wandering through villages, discovering the Serra de Tramuntana and enjoying the island without the summer heat.

Winter is also full of local traditions, including Sant Antoni on 16 and 17 January, the Sant Sebastià celebrations in Palma, followed by almond blossom across the island between January and February.

Accommodation, experiences and reservations, plus airport transfers or a hire car, depending on your chosen break, are arranged as part of your programme, so you can start enjoying Mallorca as soon as you arrive.

A beautiful place, with its diverse plants and intriguing historical buildings, offering an interesting insight into Mallorca's past. Our guide, Alessandro, had a wealth of knowledge about Mallorca and accompanied us throughout the day with his friendly manner. For return to airport on 16th June  You asked why not 5 star, the answer is, on our arrival in palma on the 6th June 2022,  no one was there after days of trying to arrange transport for my disabled scooter, 23kgs Folded, voyage prive said you as a company would not carry scooter in normal transfer and I had to pay for private transfer and bigger car.  We did this and finally found driver with a small Toyota where case had to go on front seat.  This is the reason for 4 stars and I was being generous to our return driver. Also we had to phone twice to check on transfer  we did not get text for pickup time  as stated.

Today we were made to feel very welcome , with the French tour guide Edwidge. She totally embraced translating everything important to us with the greatest kindness and patience. We were picked up on time and went for an adventure for two hours to the most beautiful gardens of Alfabia , as Edwidge  guided us through the path of flowers, nice views, olive orchards and ponds before ending up in a cafe and then guided through the main house and outer buildings. We were then driven further up In the mountains to Fornalutx for a walk around the village prior to lunch, all pre- ordered and well organised by Edwidge. She then drove us down to the train at Soller where she took us to see the Prurana House of Art Nuevo & the Picasso art exhibition at the station. She made sure we all got a train ticket and kindly made sure we could all sit together on the train , while she got off to meet us at the end station. We have just arrived back to our Hotel , happy to have had such an exciting day. Kim & Hanne

What is included in the price of the break?

The price includes accommodation in a twin room, breakfasts, transfers between Palma Airport and the hotel, as well as the activities included in the package you have chosen. The exact details vary depending on the stay and whether you choose 2, 3 or 4 nights; all of this is set out in the details for each stay.

What is the difference between the 2-, 3- and 4-night packages?

The length of your stay and the number of activities vary depending on the package. The longer you stay, the more comprehensive the programme is and the more aspects of Mallorca you can discover.

2 nights: accommodation + 1 activity
3 nights: accommodation + 2 activities
4 nights: accommodation + 3 experiences

The activities on offer depend on the hotel and the region where you are staying.

Are flights to Mallorca included in the price?

No. You are responsible for the cost of flights to Palma de Mallorca, so you are free to choose your departure city, flight times and the airline that suits you best. Once in Palma, the transfers included in your stay will take care of the rest.

Are airport transfers included?

Yes. When car hire is not included in your stay, transfers between Palma Airport and your hotel, both on arrival and departure, are included. Transfers required for the activities included in your package are also arranged in accordance with the itinerary for your stay. When your package includes a hire car, this replaces the transfers between the airport and the hotel and allows you to get about with complete freedom throughout your stay.

Is a hire car included with all stays?

No. El coche de alquiler solo está incluido en los viajes en los que se mencione explícitamente en el programa y en la sección «Qué incluye».

In this case, the vehicle will be at your disposal for the period specified in your plan. Collection takes place near Palma Airport via a shuttle service that will take you to the car hire company’s offices, located about 5 minutes from the airport.

For stays without a car, transfers between the airport and the hotel are arranged, as well as the necessary transport for the activities.

What are the conditions for hiring a car?

The driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least two years.

Basic insurance is included. You can take out additional ‘Keep Calm Pack’ cover for €5 per day, which becomes compulsory if paying by debit card. For collections between 23:00 and 06:00, a surcharge of €44 must be paid on the spot.

Stays are available during the low season and are subject to hotel availability and the schedule of included activities. When making your booking, you will be able to select the dates available for your chosen package.
