Why choose winter for a romantic break in Mallorca?
In summer, Mallorca is a place to share. In winter, it’s a place to savour as a couple. The roads through the Tramuntana mountains are free of traffic jams, the inland villages go about their business at their own pace, and you can explore Palma without having to queue outside the cathedral. The days remain mild – mild enough to have lunch on a terrace – and the cool evenings make a log fire all the more cosy.
This is also the season for our winter experiences and breaks, designed to help you discover the island in a different way through culture, cuisine and scenery whether with an Amigo or at your own pace.

Our tips for a perfect romantic break
- For Valentine’s Day or the festive season, please book as early as possible: dates are subject to hotel availability and the schedule of experiences.
- Make sure you pack some warm clothes for the evenings: the days are mild, but it gets chilly again quickly once night falls.
- Combine the olive oil workshop and Santanyí on the same day: both experiences take place in the south-east of the island.
- To hire a car, the driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a driving licence for at least two years.
- Set aside an evening to spend by the fireside: it’s often the one you remember most.
